Well, couldn'tcha have written a longer sentence--something Faulknery and elliptical that keeps going and going and perhaps never gets back to its original point but is kind of fun to read nonetheless, since it's structure and punctuation are intriguing and, um, stuff? Or not. Perhaps that would have defeated the purpose.
Sorry I missed reading your post yesterday and helping you out with your contest!
I loved your comment yesterday on my blog! We really are at the same spot with our rewriting. I'm hoping that I can trust my editors requests. Even though the process of editing and rewriting is subjective, I don't feel like I have the know-how yet either, to demand my own way!
The thing is, I noticed you ALWAYS get lots of comments on your blogs. (I am the kind of person who is lucky to have 3 comments on a blog). So what is this contest for?
oh, it was a contest to see who could get the most comments (I assume from different people, or I would jsut comment away all day) from a one sentence blog. Whoever got the most won a free book.
