Forgive me for not posting today. The maid that I hired in my dreams last year has failed to show up, again. So I must get to the stack of dishes that have been waiting and waiting for her. It seems I am constantly trying to compensate for her inadequacies.
Maybe next time I'll try including a pay scale in the hiring process. And maybe find a person that exists in the real world. After Perilous sales a million copies, which it did in my dreams last night.

Haha, "compensating for her inadequacies." Ah, the joys of being a stay-at-home mom and writer.
LOL! I was just talking with a writer friend the other day... we decided we both really needed a personal assistant, but we'd have to get one we could pay in Twizzlers!
I'm a work from home dad with a full time IT job... and I hear ya, those dishes stack up quick!
seriously! how does one work from home and be a stay-at-home-mom?? something has to go!
Want to hear something really scary? I'm doing to my book what K wanted me to do when I was her object of torture. How's that for weird. Why? You ask. Because she was right on a few points. Glad I didn't stay there though. Not regretting that choice. Good luck on the dishes!
That's what you have kids for - to do the dishes! :o)
Oh the reality of being a creative mom! I'm working with my editor, trying to homeschool four children, run a household and be a single mom... while working side jobs from home to keep the lights on. Sleep is overated... that's my only solution. :) Love your blog... following from the A-Z!
