No point in wasting any more time. Since I'll probably be crashing in the afternoon, may as well get things done now.
I'm plagued by worries and things to do. I need to order things for book signings, I need to set up book signings. I need to update my website. I need to post about my upcoming contests. I need to email my blog tour people. I need, I need, I need...
And then I've been fighting this horrible anxiety. You know the one: What if nobody likes my book? What if I get so many negative reviews that it is BAD for my future? What if no one can FIND my book? What if people hate my cover and don't buy my book? What if, what if, what if...
Is there an official name for this feeling? It's called 'cold feet' before a wedding. Maybe we should give it a name. Paper sick? Hardly bound? Inkless? Suggestions?

Inkless sounds so poetic. I like it. On the other hand, Hardly Bound has an accurate imagery, like the coming apart at the pieces. Your suggestions are already so good, I couldn't add to them. Interesting thought, though. Maybe there should be a word for this.
I like 'Paper Sick'...that's cute! And hey, if you need an extra place to tour on your blog, I'd love to host you! (I only have 19 followers right now, but I'm climbing!)
I like Inkless-BUT you have one fan who has read your book and loved it already.
Make that two.
Oh dear Tamara. I know what you mean about insomnia. I sometimes am awake all night, like two nights ago. And I had a rough time with baby night feedings; I don't do well getting back to sleep when I'm hauled awake. Glad my babies are grown! Hang in there. It does get better.
But you do have a lot on your mind right now. Easy to say, but do relax. You just do the best you can. We do have to try to develop a tough skin to promote a book.
I'm a third fan of you book. I read a hundred pages of it last night and am very anxious to get back to it. The pacing is great. The suspense is wonderful. Don't want to go into details to give it away.
Don't worry about the blog tour. It's going to go. I think you're mostly suffering from lack of sleep! In such a state, one can feel like doom and gloom!!!
True, true, Ann! I'm a monster with lack of sleep! Ask my poor children!
I think it's actually called "Writer's Psychosis," and it's alive and well at this house, believe you me.
Best of luck, and I'm sure your book will do great!
BTW, sleep deprivation makes everything explode out of control.
Okay Tamara that settles it. I'm doing something for you on my blog. Watch for it. I needed a new post today and you're it.
Hi, I found you through Karen G. Your book sounds great. If you want to add more followers, I am one now, but even more, there is a Viking Blog BBQ, directions are on my site last Tuesday and I will post it again tomorrow.

All right, Karen! I'm going to have to go see what's going on!
I too came over from KarenG's blog to wish you all the best!
I popped over from KarenG's blog to show you some love - and I can identify with your insomnia! There is nothing worse than not being able to sleep because you can't shut your head off. I hate all the worries that float around. I have to make lists and cross things off or I might never sleep! Looking forward to your book!
Popped over from KarenG's blog. I have added a permanent link onto New Book Blogger. It is a blog I run for authors to show off their books for nothing. http://newbookblogger.blogspot.com/
Relax for five, we have it covered in the blogging world. LOL

Hi Tamara,
I came over from KarenG's blog too :) I wish you every success with your book and I'm looking forward to buying it for Kindle (I'm in Ireland, so I doubt I can buy the print copy here - I also can't buy a Kindle but I can get software to let me read Kindle books!).
Really, I wish you ever good luck. You deserve it. Take care!
Thank you, all of Karen's followers! It warms my heart that you came to visit me! I'll definitely return the favor!
KarenG sent me though I would have come on my own if I could have found you. Just want you to know that I will be praying for a huge God-like success for your book and that you get that comfort you need right now! Blessings!
Urgh! That anxiety/anticipation is a biggie... how about bound bound or bound squared? (see what a geek I am?) Anyway, I wish you a ton of luck with the release, and hope you manage to get some sleep between now and then.
KarenG sent me and I can't wait to buy your book! Hang in there, and know that things will work out as they should.
Hi Tamara, popped over from KarenG's. I look forward to the release of your book. Take deep breaths. You are published. Celebrate!!!! :)
I also feel that anxiety of a book coming out! Just reading how another writer has the same worries about reviews and what to do to prepare for a release, that has made my day somehow. I'm with you.
Tamara...look in sidebar you now have a permanent spot. Good Luck. http://newbookblogger.blogspot.com/
Thank you, Glynis!
I call it "Careful what you wish for." Been there, baby, still there most of the time. Whenever I shut out everything and take a few moments to pray and hand my worries over, I find the time and the answers almost always materialize.
Gotta say, even this blog post is beautifully written, I can only imagine your novel is too and that WILL be noticed.
Really, Nicki? thanks! That's such a nice thing to say!
