I installed intense debate when I first started my blog, but then someone with whom I have a blog friendship emailed me direct and told me he would no longer comment on my blog because Intense Debate was requesting a lot of info from commenters. I did not want to make commenting difficult or suspicious to prospective commentors so I delated my Intense Debate connection. Lee
I pretty much came to that same conclusion, Lee. It definitely made it more difficult. A pity, I liked the whole email thing. Maybe someday they'll make it less intrusive.
Thank you for all your hard work to figure this out. I am watching you closely to see what you come up with, because this is something I battle with. As a blogger I want to be able to comment, but not make it difficult.
I also tried to comment on Intense Debate and thought it was difficult. So I think you came to the right conclussion. If I find something before you I'll let you know.
Since my whole post was about simplifying and making it easy for the reader, it didn't make sense to me to have something that made it more complicated.
